Yup, he didn't leave. He was sacked

As Ed Chamberlain said "got some big breaking news from the PL", I honestly thought he was going to say Mourinho has left Chelsea! But inevitable. Carragher was spot-on in everything he said, why they didn't just get rid of Rodgers in the summer and not let him spend more money IDK. Probably had some credit in the bank, still, from the title run but would have been better to start afresh in the summer.

Klopp to replace him, for sure. Ancelotti's recovering from a back op and IMO, he's more suited to a taking over a club when the team is in place to win asap. Not sure how good he'd be at re-building where as Klopp is suited to FSG's policy of buying unknown players etc.

Rather Rodgers stayed tbh but will be missed, provided some good laughs with his press conferences. I think he'll go abroad rather than return to the PL.
