Now that the World Cup is over...

What are your expectations/predictions for your club this upcoming season?

I think Manchester City will be the favorites to win the Premier League for the 2nd year in a row. Liverpool will suffer a bit with the loss of Suarez, Chelsea I think would be 2nd behind City in the odds after adding Diego Costa and Fabregas. United only have England to worry about which I guess is good for them. Arsenal are never winning the league title again, so they're out. Assuming Aguero stays healthy, we should be better than last season, and the defense is getting an upgrade in Mangala. Manuel knows what he's doing as manager and hopefully he can build on the disappointing loss to Barcelona in the CL Round of 16. I'll be satisfied with another league title but to be honest & arrogant I probably won't be happy unless we go further in the CL.

Villa are getting relegated. The time has come.

Lambert has somewhat strengthened the team in this window but the turmoil off the pitch is bound to have a negative effect on it. The chairman doesn't want to be there and doesn't want to fund the manager, the fans aren't behind the manager, and I get the impression that the players aren't either.

Even in the dark days of McLeish I never thought we'd get relegated - but this year I'm expecting it. Villa have ridden their luck in recent years as there's always been three worse teams than them and hence have stayed up, but I can't see there being three worse teams than Villa this time around.

The most painful thing about it is that the club shouldn't even be in this position, either.

CL qualification is the priority. It's too much to ask for any sort of battle for the title.

If we can bring two/three quality first team players then yes but I don't see the targets we're being linked with as achievable so I think we'll get third. Maybe a cup win somewhere would be nice.

Norwich will finish top of the Championship with RVW and Lewis Grabban as the highest goal scores in the league. Now enough of fantasy land, in the real word, Norwich will probably finish 9th or something.

I think Arsenal will finish 2nd in the Premier League for some reason. Man Utd will finish 4th. Villa will indeed go down, but Lambert will have been sacked before Christmas.

Liverpool will qualify for the Champions League again due to the fact nobody expects them too, though they'll struggle in Europe without a world class Suarez' replacement.

Villa won't be relegated. They'll be down there, but they won't go down.

Bradford won't go four straight months without winning a game this season.

It's hard to predict where Birmingham will end up with the squad we have and all the crap going on behind the scenes, as long as we don't get relegated I'll be happy.

I think Villa will get relegated this season, in which case I hope Birmingham stay in the Championship. I want the second city derby back!

I don't have a club. But I am a Buffalo Bills fan. The Bills suck, we live the glory days where we almost won the championship. Yeat each year before the season starts we still get really excited knowing we have a chance. This quickly goes away six weeks in. That being said, who should I cheer for?
