2014/2015 Kits

Postby Daz » Jun 24, '14, 8:54 am

Figured with the new season coming up, teams rolling out their new shirts and whatnot, this'd be a solid idea for a thread. We've seen a few already, but whatever. I'll start, throwing out Norwich's new shirt which was revealed earlier today.

Personally, I think it's a big improvement over last years. It's a play on a shirt we had during the 1914 season, which is a nice touch. The tag line is #YellowTogether which is cheesy, but also kind of nice that the club is trying to bring the fans back together after the shit with Hughton last year.

Decent kit, I like it. I think it's always good when they base kits on historical designs too.

I'm not too keen on Villa's, whereas EVERYONE on Twitter seems to love it. I haven't seen one tweet criticising it, and loads of people are saying they bought it immediately. This is it:

I think it's pretty boring. The away shirt is better than last year's battenburg shite, but I won't be buying.

Only kit we've announced so far is this third kit:

Looks alright I suppose, the home kit I don't think has been released yet but the rumored design is:

And if that is the real home kit I'd be pretty chuffed as it looks really nice.

It's funny, a lot of Norwich fans seemed to be hoping for pinstripes. Yellow and green pinstripes, could you fucking imagine?

Yeah, though they keep the club colours.
