EPL fans - watch this

Man City are showing an hour-long documentary on their website of when they won the title.

Truly one of the best Premier League moments, if not the best - Aguero's winning goal was beautiful.

Yeah but Liverpool's season ending has uplifted my spirits on a disappointing season. We've been bad that it has become accepted so not overly depressed as I was four months ago.

Consider this.

You are being made happy by the fact that Liverpool unexpectedly lost to Chelsea which may have cost them a premier league title.

Just keep repeating that and think over the last few seasons.

We're not sad, just disappointed.

Yea, maybe we can get the same guy who directed the 'we stand by our managers' United documentary.

That probably sums up the general feeling of Liverpool fans. Considering how close you came, I would have expected abit more than the "we've had a good season" narrative also taking into account United were never in it; Chelsea don't have a striker; City faltered mid-way through the league and Liverpool had goals in them (but couldn't stop them it seems). Sorry, but I'd respect Liverpool fans more if they were annoyed the league fell (or should that be slip :P ) out of their grasp rather than this narrative they are spreading.

What were Liverpool fans expecting Manchester United fans would do in response their faltering bid to win the league? Offer sympathy? Hell no lol. Just in the same manner that Liverpool fans didn't when Aguero scored in 2012, so don't really see why Liverpool fans get bit twitchy when United fans join in the fun considering our woeful season.

And the standing by our managers, well, Fergie did it with the best of intentions but would you have kept Roy Hodgson in charge when he was shown to be completely out his depth? Nope, you got rid - rightly - when it became the job was too big for him. Standing by managers is a thing of past sadly.

What? Every single Liverpool fan is annoyed we let the league fall out of our own hands when it was there for the taking, every single one. There's nothing wrong at all with trying not to dwell on the overwhelming negative and instead try focus on the positives of having our best season in years.

So we'd get more respect if we were annoyed? Of course were fucking annoyed. Last time we got second we weren't even this close.

You can list all the 'problems' of City and Chelski, but they're operating with a fuckload more resources than Liverpool. Nobody had us any higher than 4th going into this season.

Another stat for you, for Liverpool to have won the league, we would have needed to get 40 of our remaining 42 points in the season. Last team to do that? Never done.

We got 37 out of 42.

So if a Manyoo supporter can be feeling better, we should be fucking chuffed.
