Pep learning outside of managing two sets of players who were intelligent enough to adapt to his methods that City don't have that. Mourinho got hammered for under-delievering with United. City are up the table yet don't get the criticism for spending lots of money and frNkly should be up there on level points with Arsenal.

I change the topic to 'ClaudiOut' and they go and smash Man City 3-0. Of course that happens.

Fair to say Norwich/Villa wasn't an advert for the game. Fucking brutal performance by both teams.

Baffling decision by Birmingham to sack Rowett and bring in.....Zola? Former surely won't be out of work for long.

Rowett has worked wonders with Birmingham. Awful decision to sack him.

When you're bringing on Cameron Jerome to salvage a point at home, you might as well just accept that you're fucked.

Kodjia wins us another game. I'd do anything for that man.

No doubt a few mid-table Premier League clubs will be after him at the end of the season. I definitely think he could make the step up too.

Ah, one of the best times of the year from a football perspective with Boxing Day and NYD matches.

United, if they can beat Sunderland and Middlesbrough, will make it five wins on the bounce which I hope will be a permanent sign of Mourinho's plan coming together but when you're relying on a guy who burns toast (Rojo) and another guy who has had an injury record (Jones) then at some point that will come unstuck but atm, Jones especially is showing excellent form and the reason why we signed him originally.

Chelsea are in cruise control for the league atm, they won their last game without Costa. It'll be up to the teams around them to beat them to close the gap. United, meanwhile, are looking good thanks to their unbeaten run covering two months and 5 league wins on the bounce.

Also, Jonjo Shelvey banned for five games and fined for calling a Wolves player a 'smelly Arab'. Shelvey's always seemed like a dick so not totally surprising although Newcastle avoided any t-shirts in support of Shelvey unlike Liverpool with Suarez .

Someone has been sending Gary Lineker parcels of used toilet paper for 20 years:

Oddly someone has been sending it to Jonathan Agnew, BBC cricket correspondent. He's not that bad surely!

Fun watching my Dad freak out at Liverpool drawing with Sunderland. I feel for Liverpool fans so much :lol Every win is a precursor to winning the league and every dropped point is season ending.

Awful result for us today, we're without Kodjia for a month due to AFCON too. A few weeks ago I was hoping for a late run at the play offs, but now I've accepted a second season in the championship.

Lots of English players get bare hype but Dele Alli is worth it on his recent form, topped off by his already two goals v Chelsea.

I'm a huge fan of his. I haven't seen such a good prospect since Lampard and Gerrard.

On the bright side, Villa will get a lovely day out in the fine city of Norwich again next season.

Sad news with Graham Taylor's passing at the age of 72.

His early managerial career was before my time (only really remember his second spell at Aston Villa) but since then, his managerial aptitude was characterized by a turnip which was a gross over-reaction with the reasons Magic noted.

What can't be disputed is the numerous stories coming out after his passing showing tremendous generosity, care and respect for his players and officials. The England failure hurt him deeply but he handled everything with good grace and humour.

Why did Birmingham sack Gary Rowett? A few of my mates are blues fans and they already want Zola gone.

Had a laugh at Bristol City. When we sacked Di Matteo, for some reason Lee Johnson ruled himself out of the job even though literally no one was actually linking him with it, and far better managers were available. All their fans took the piss out of us for signing Kodjia for £12m from them too, saying they were laughing their way to the bank. They've now lost a club record of 7 games on the bounce. Meanwhile Kodjia averages a goal every two games at Villa, and now Lee Johnson is probably getting sacked.

I'm not forgetting the fact that Villa are also shit too. My god, we're shit.

What on earth has happened at Norwich? 10 points off the playoffs.

Why does Paul Merson have a job?

Why does Gabby Agbonlahor still have a job?
