It was a penalty. Guzan nicked him as he went past.

Doesn't look like it to me, but whatever. Liverpool deserved a draw.

Yeah I'd say a draw was fair in the end. Villa dominated the first half and could've been further ahead if Agbonlahor was half-decent. Liverpool did well to get back into it but even at 2-2 lacked that sense of urgency to go on and win it, even in stoppage time the way Skrtel and Toure casually sauntered about with the ball was infuriating. These are the types of games Liverpool need to win if they hope to stand any chance of finishing in the top 4.

It seemed there to be minimal contact (shame Michael Owen wasn't commentating for the only reason he would have given his take on it, being a self-professed expert since retiring on How To Win A Foul) but in that situation, the attacking player knows what to do - make contact with the keeper and go down - penalty. It didn't seem to me Guzan had made major contact for Suarez to go down but the above 'rule' happens but I'll watch on MOTD to confirm.

Benteke has to get back in form for Villa to avoid similiar relegation scrap from last season. But if he doesn't fire this season, I'd be tempted to sell him in the summer especially if Atletico Madrid lose Costa and money to spend (£32m from a potential sale of Costa) on a replacement if they are interested in Benteke.

Villa need to get rid of:
Darren Bent (his wages are ridiculous and he's very average)
Shay Given (wages)
Enda Stevens (he's shit)
Alan Hutton (wages, shit)
Charles N'Zogbia (I like him but his wages are high and he never plays)
Jordan Bowery (shit)
Aleksandar Tonev (shit)
Nathan Delfouneso (shit)

It'll take a while for all of them to be shifted but they need to go - so much deadwood in the squad. If only Lerner would give Lambert some money to spend for their replacements.

Right, Viazon, Prophet. February 8th - Liverpool vs Arsenal. Shit's gonna go down.

This is Andy Carroll's old Bebo: http://archive.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=4957197631. Read through it. Laugh. But, on February the 8th, his Bebo won't be as funny anymore for one of you. The loser of the Liverpool vs Arsenal game (either Viazon or Prophet) will have to change their avatar to this old picture of Carroll:

Spoiler:
Image

Then, as part of the deal, you must:
1) If asked, claim that the photo is a recently taken selfie
2) Create a thread in the TV & Movies section, simply saying "my favourite film has to be the jungle book its an unreal movie" (this quote is on Carroll's profile)
3) After this, continue to post purely about The Jungle Book and also kebabs.

This will continue for a full week.

Note: If the Liverpool vs Arsenal game ends up a draw, it will be decided by which team had the most possession.

Gentlemen, this is happening.

Seen the Suarez 'penalty' and don't think it was but tbf, as I said above it happens. I'd say the Sterling penalty last weekend was more of a penalty than this one.

Villa deserved a point out of it and I think Suarez will not hit the heights he has as of late with Strurridge back in the side. Former likes playing on his own I feel and Strurridge takes the space he wants at times but they'll do OK.

Listening to Graeme Souness and Glenn Hoddle over analyse every conceivable aspect of the Spurs vs Swansea game was painful. On top of that, it's a shit game too.

This. So much this - Souness chats so much shit it's untrue. I like Hoddle but it's like he tries to clever and analytical for the sake of being clever and analytical.

EDIT: also.. Image

^That just looks like Suarez, like any other attacker, leaves his foot there to make contact. I think Gary Neville's going to have to do a diving special on MNF.

Swansea - expected them to win but Sherwood to his credit has adopted a 4-5-1 from his favoured 4-4-2.

Delighted that Jones is back for United today, and Young plays so will do his defensive job to support Evra.

Eto'o is tearing them apart. When this game concludes, Man United will be 4 points off Everton... who have a game in hand.

One Man United fan phoned into Talk Sport and said "Moyes left behind a better team at Everton than the one he inherited at United"

Newsflash: Man United are the fucking champions. Fuck off with your excuses.
