Reminds me of that Simpsons bit, where Bart says: 'I'm going to swing my arms like this and all forward, if you're in the way it's your fault.'

Poor by Rooney but as it's not a foreigner, won't be highlighted and has been forgotten about.

A decent win today, one that maybe flattered us because I really expected Villa to be on the front foot today. I thought they'd press us more, target Buttner at LB but we started nervously and then they scored and we ended the first half well. Kagawa showed his intricate quality with both goals and second half, luckily Benteke's missiles were not firing and we plucked the goals out in the midst of Fellaini being more involved going forward.

Fellaini's issues come in the DM position, just not grasped that role which isn't a surprise considering Moyes played him as a CAM at Everton for so long. But he looks half decent when he pushes forward.

The plane banner thing backfired. I wasn't a fan of it tbh regardless my apprehension of Moyes and tbh, it just galvanised the crowd towards the team. The support for Moyes wasn't as vigorous but again, more to the point of getting behind the team although they gave him a good reception when he came out.

Bayern are dreading facing us now I bet after a 4-1 win by us :P

Great to see Chelsea losing - wonder what Mourinho will blame this defeat on.

Cardiff needed to win today, got a draw but still think, sadly for Ole, that they'll go down.

Right - Sunday 13th April - Man City vs Liverpool. Massive game, and the winner could win the title. SKS vs Prophet. Sig bet.

The loser of the game must change their avatar to a picture of Mick McCarthy, and PM Tim asking to change their name to 'Mick'. It must remain this way for two weeks.

If City can get Aguero back and fit till the end of the season then I'd back them to win it but if not then Chelsea/Liverpool (please, God, NO!) could pull it off. City lack that attacking fluidity without Aguero because he does so much with his qualities.

David James says Moyes is still actingas the Everton manager and you would say that he is.

Some of the rag red tops say he'll be replaced; the more established papers say he'll be given a £200m spend; other suggest he'll change his coaching team around. I would probably say the latter two are going to be correct.

As much as Moyes doesn't instil confidence - I think United (Glazers, SAF, Charlton) will grit their teeth and stick by him no matter what. If they sack him now, he's got the excuse of "I was never given time to build my own team" and the reasons we all know what was wrong with the squad dynamics. At least if he spends the money on the targets he wants (Shaw, Kroos, Carvalho, Gundogan) and he gets them then at least they aren't poor players like Dalglish spent with Carroll, Downing etc , they are players that will be able to perform so if Moyes gets chopped then the man will have some bundles of talent to play with.

Isn't he also on a 6 year contract..... that'll cost a bomb to sack him

If they gave him a 6 year deal without any clauses in it then fuck me.

But they might feel keeping Moyes on for longer than he needs to and the financial cost of failure is more than to pay him off.

Rumours are its Danny Rose who he hit, and Rose hit him back. There's rumours Sherwood's gonna be sacked.

^Oh yes please. Sherwood got carried away with his early success and he's completely lost the plot, even more so than AVB did but atleast he didn't piss off the players as Sherwood has apparently done. Would have been better off keeping AVB in charge.
