Predictions for tonight? I'm going 3-1 England.

Yeah I'd see England winning by a few. Interested to see how Forster performs if he does indeed start tonight, there's been a lot of pull for him to get a start from a lot of the Celtic fans I know.

As far as the Scotland game goes I'm not wholly confident, last time we played USA it didn't turn out too well but Gordon Strachan has I feel been a much better manager than Craig Levein was and we're coming off a decent run of form with wins against Croatia and Macedonia so who knows.

Any of the Americans we've got on here fancy a sig bet? :lol

I do love it when England lose as it's always entertaining watching the press go into meltdown and blame everything under the sun for England's loss.

DaMarcus Beasley! I liked him at Rangers. Also, didn't know Scotland had a new kit, it looks pretty good. No USA fans fancy the bet? Bit late now I guess, the match just started.

Huh, that was a shocker.

Much more interesting than our game, that was painfully dull.

TIL that DaMarcus Beasley is a left back now and Lichaj is pronounced Lee-Ha

Didn't watch the game but glad I didn't. Sanchez in red hot form for club and country.

How did Forster, Jones, Baines, the Southampton lads do?

Forster was shit, same with Jay Rodriguez. Lallana was alright, Baines and Jones fairly quiet.

Forster had no chances with the goals but at the same time didn't have to do
Jones couldn't handle Sanchez and continued to get burnt for pace.
Baines was at fault for the first goal for not cutting Sanchez off
Both were quiet I think the occasion got to Rodrigez as he seemed shit scared, Lalana wasn't too bad, I think Englands tactics are alot different to Southamptons so I think that it'll take a while to adapt, you just hope they didnt blow there chance.

On the scale of 1 to Macauley Culkin, how bad do you think Germany will molest us next week?

I truly hope that England get dicked around by Germany, i'm going 5-0 Germany but don't you worry Andy Townsend (ITV Commentator) will still say these friendly games don't matter and they're all just learning experiences.

I reckon 4-0. I'd even put a few quid on it.

Heh, seems since Steven Fletcher is out for the game on Tuesday Kris Boyd is going to replace him. He used to be one of my favourite players and he's not played for Scotland for a few years so this'll be good to see.

^Didn't he refuse to play for Scotland under Craig Levein?

Have to say, really got positives hopes for Scotland and Wales' Euro 2016 qualification. Both sides got consistency and stability with their coaches and a decent group of players. Wales have Bale, Ramsey, Allen, Williams. I've always liked Strachan's honesty and he seems to have gone back to basics (hard-work namely). But tbh, I fear injuries/not playing for their international sides enough might frustrate the overall teams chances.

^ It was George Burley, and refusing to play under him wasn't a professional thing to do by any means it was honestly understandable, in fairness Burley was a horrible manager, I wouldn't want to play under him either. He only won 3 out of 14 matches in charge and made a couple of real blunders where it came to selection. Biggest one for me was when he left out Boyd in favour of Chris Iwelumo for a World Cup Qualifier, Iwelumo went on to miss from 3 yards out and lose us the game.

^Yeah he didn't have the best spell at Scotland, old George.

TBH, I do wish he had stayed Hearts managers at that time when they were top after 11 games (doesn't mean they would have stayed there) and see if they could have broken Rangers and Celtic's hegemony. But he had that nutter fruitcake owner sadly.
