Bumping this thread to tell you about my GOAT Staines team.

I'm third in the Vanarama South, 2 points off first. I signed a left back named Gareth Gwillim who is the Vanarama's answer to Roberto Carlos, in 8 games he has 3 goals (2 free kicks and a penalty), 7 assists and 2 MOTM performances. He just led me to a cheeky 4-0 win over Ebbsfleet, scoring one and assisting three.

I'm a bit of a Harry Redknapp though - I've signed a bunch of players on massive wages and it's crippling the club. I'm about -800 per month on my wage bill and no one will sign my players as they're all shite except for Gareth 'The GOAT' Gwillim. I need to get rid of about 5 players to break even on wages, but they all have lengthy contracts and mutually terminating most contracts costs me at least 8k, money which the club doesn't have.

I'll provide screenshots if the people want, and we can all keep up on the progress of my mighty Staines team.

I started a new game with Newcastle and lasted two seasons before I was fired. Even though in my second season I finished 5th and won the Capital One Cup. All because new owners took over Newcastle and they wanted to bring in their own manager. Can you believe that shit?

I had built myself a decent team aswell. I managed to bring in some quality players like Gilardino, Quaresma, Hangalend and Tim Cahill. Now it's all gone to waste.
