I wouldn't say he's been shite, it's easy to single him out but the reality is the team has been shite and as a result Mario hasn't really made much of an impact yet. That said I think people are comparing him with Suarez which is hugely unfair.

He hasn't been great sure but he'll improve as he adapts to the style of football Rodgers wants them to play.

He's just trying to curry favour in the cesspit of hilarity that is, pretty much, Man United's defence.

Sturridge needs to get fit asap because Balotelli just isn't really delivering and Lambert/Borini are hardly great back up.

As it were, Borini has impressed me in the past two games he's featured in. He only came on for the latter stages against Ludogorets but ran his socks off and against West Ham did Mario's running for him. I was one of the people annoyed at him for not fucking off but frankly he's said time and again how determined he is to get into the Liverpool team and he does look like a man with a point to prove, good on him I suppose. Maybe the Italian connection will help Mario out.
