And one of them is when Escobar was killed after he scored an own goal.

How is that a great moment?

I suppose it shows how passionate fans can get, but I agree, it's hardly a 'great' moment :lol

Everyone remembers where they were when that happened. I was in the pub with my mates.

Still, these aren't really great moments are they? I think the name of this show should be changed.

Oh my days. Fucking Italy-Brazil '94.

I was 7-8 years old. I still remember this clearly. Probably my earliest footballing memory.

The entire Italian community were watching the final at the Italian club in town. It was a big occasion. I still remember all the heart break around me.

The 2006 world cup ended on a much happier not though.

I would've been 3 in '94, I don't remember it haha. My earliest World Cup memory is 98.

Baggio deserved to miss that penalty for his haircut alone.

Only thing I love about the 94 WC are the goal nettings, so spacious and big!

Best bit was when Diana Ross spooned that penalty wide in the opening ceremony.

A bit late to the thread, but did Graham Poll get a mention for his 3 yellow cards to Simunic?
