Panama Papers

Postby PorkChop » Apr 06, '16, 10:40 am

Has anyone been following this? It has the potential to be one of the biggest scandals of this century.

Some major figures in our government over here, including the prime minister himself, have found themselves implicated in this. Cameron's parents had an offshore fund in Panama (as did several other Tory MP's), and he's been dodging questions left and right about it. Cameron said it was a "private matter" and refuses to provide an answer as to whether he has personally benefitted from any offshore funds.

I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

Yeah, this is pretty crazy stuff. Surprised there haven't been any Americans revealed yet, though some theorize it's just a matter of time and they're working on corroborating claims.

Love how Cameron commented on Jimmy Carr's tax issues but his own tax dodging from his father is "private".

We're all in it together, apparently.

Iceland's PM has resigned.

It is a huge scandal, but I highly doubt anything will actually come of it. Cameron is already sweeping it under the the rug because his father was implicated. If anything happens to the other Tory MP's who were involved, I'd be fucking shocked.

It's also hilarious cause recently the Tory's have been targeting big companies like Starbucks and Amazon for not paying tax in this country. They were only doing that to save face after public pressure, and now this comes out...

As if we needed further proof that they're hypocritical scumbags only out to preserve their own interest. It gets more shocking by the week how anyone with any ounce of sense or compassion for other people could have voted for these cunts.

And even then it was a pittance what they got from those companies considering their revenues.

Cameron on Tuesday: "No shares"

Today, Cameron says he had shares in his father's offshore company which he sold in 2010. But hey, all in it together eh Dave?

David Cameron is full of shit, shock horror right?

If he had any dignity, he'd kindly fuck off and take the rest of his money grabbing political party with him. Of course he won't, because expecting a Tory to do the right thing is expecting too much.

My favourite quote in all of this was Cameron's:

"“I sold them all in 2010, because if I was going to become Prime Minister I didn’t want anyone to say you have other agendas, vested interests."

Which is hilarious because everything the Tory's have done since he became Prime Minister has been done with an agenda and vested interests.

So Cameron's the one in the wrong yet a radio station doorsteps Corbyn outside his home asking him about the papers and the former get mardy arsed and cry "assault!" when he, shock horror, is pissed off they're preventing him from getting his bike out and going to work. Cameron getting away with it of course.. and only Mirror had a front page splash strong enough.

Take a bow Dennis Skinner

Not surprising Bercow gets all upset as it's his Tory 'mate' Cameron at the end of the barb but if it was Corbyn from a Tory bench, would have been ignored for sure..

The smug grin Cameron gives at the end is infuriating though. The slimy cunt thinks he's untouchable.
