It is amazing how the mainstream media (and even, to some extent, the alternative media) are downplaying the severity of Fukushima and its ghastly consequences.
Here is an insightful video detailing the enormity Fukushima is going to have on the world, particularly the Eastern Asian region:
This is not hyperbole. The US are now beginning to warn fishers to stop catching all coastal life and Japan's entire seafood industry is coming under a lot of threat, not to mention the welfare of some of their more densely populated cities.
Worst of all, nuclear waste is still leaking into the Pacific Ocean and this can only cause a shitshorm of prodigious proportions down the line. Also, let's not forget the Fukushima region is vulnerable to earthquakes, so the likelihood of another quake hitting the area within the next 10 years is high. It just depends on its magnitude.
The worst has yet to come for Fukushima. Only Chernobyl can rival it in terms of sheer destruction, but, even then, that nuclear plant was located in a much more isolated area than Fukushima.
