Read about this before bed and hoped it'd be non-terror related but awful, horrific news to wake up to.

Teenagers, children going to a concert and not coming back.

Depressing stuff but as usual, divisive, hateful messages from some people but also generosity coming out in Manchester with taxi drivers giving lifts home etc.

Full respect to the emergency services at this time. :(

Just absolutely horrific. Targeting children is where we are now?

The response by some of the more deplorable people in the media is sickening, using the pictures of the victims to push their fucking agenda before their families have even begun to grieve. The lack of decency or empathy is just startling. And the sad thing is, it really shouldn't be at this point. It's a cycle we've been through time and time again. It just feels a bit more raw with it happening on "home soil" so to speak.

My second cousin is currently at uni in Manchester. Thank God she is fine. However, it's a shame that can't be said about the people caught up in this tragedy. The world is just going nuts. It's scary to think that no matter where you go, something like this could happen. Really feel for the families of the victims.

It's not on Twitter though, when a primetime morning show host only hours after the attack is fingerpointing at a community and thus implying blame is on them for not doing more, and from that, results in Muslim communities (specifically women) get attacked, abused - that's dangerous and sort of comments that would attributed to the like of Katie Hopkins and the far right.

I feel compelled to respond to rubbish generalising communities or asking Muslim communities to root out extremism like it's so simple as just saying it.
