Leaving the single market wasn't even a part of the Leave campaign either - as Scotland said, there was no mandate for this. Nobody voted on it. Infact, lots of prominent Leave campaigners were insistent that we'd stay in the single market if Brexit won. It's yet another example that the general public, and MPs themselves, had no idea what we we're doing at the time of the referendum and we still don't now.

This is such a colossal shitshow. We're doomed.
