In my mind, if you're not upholding Democracy, you're against the people, and for the kingmakers. Which to me is baffling. I don't know. I'm a weirdo, could be just me.

I certainly don't regret supporting Trump, lmao.

If anything being a Wall Street candidate makes Hillary pretty damn predictable. We know what they want, their best interests haven't changed in forever. They go where the money is, and they appreciate stability. So does Hillary. The system has been good to her, she doesn't want to change it.

You think Trump is more predictable? The guy who supported the other party a couple of years ago? The guy who has changed his rhetoric and flip-flopped on policy a whole bunch throughout the election? A guy who does no research and basically says whatever comes into his head? How could you possibly believe that? This is a man with little ethics, no shame and zero filter. We have no idea what he's capable of.

Hillary may be corrupt, but Trump's evils are right there for everyone to see. And while his overworked defenders have been trying to spin that as a good thing, it's not. I don't give a fuck if he says what he thinks and speaks his mind. I want politicians to know how to play the game. How to be diplomatic. How to play well with others. The only thing that we know about Trump is that he won't be able to do any of that.

I wouldn't be psyched about voting for Clinton. She's not a good candidate. But at least she's not a dangerous candidate. She's not an incompetent, xenophobic, misogynist lunatic. In 2016, sadly that's the best option that Americans have.

Trump will mist likely get shut down. We know this. He will be stiffled by the establishment. This unhinged lunatic causing a nuclear holocaust is Liberal masturbation material. Call him crazy and ignore rampant corruption on the other side because we're the good guys and progressive.

^I am stilling laughing at the fact that you implied I am a Hillary supporter. You are falling into the same trap as the Hillary voters that won't talk about the Wikileaks. You are deflecting Trump's shortcoming. This stuff about him changing up the system is all bullshit of the highest order. Don't act like he is some rogue who is out on a mission to save us all. He is a narcissistic bigot who thinks so highly of himself that he believes he can do whatever he wants. Hillary is no saint and her demons are very clear in the Wikileaks. However, when people are forced to choose between these crap candidates, they are going to choose the person who at least has shown presidential work in the past. Trump is a celebrity posing as a candidate, Hillary is a corrupt politician. We have had corrupt politicians for years. It isn't new and it isn't good, but trying to fix the system with the worst candidate in history (Trump) could be a catastrophe. That is like fixing a crack in a wall by slamming it with a hammer. Sure it looks different, but it is just 10 steps backwards.

Trump supporters are the oddest people I have ever met. They want to change a system by voting in a celebrity with no knowledge of what he is doing. A system that has essentially benefited their candidate to the highest degree. Trump is literally treating this election like everyone of his businesses. He thinks if he markets himself enough, then everything will work out. Just like a lot of his businesses, he will fail at this too.

Again, it's not about Trump being some sort of hero. He's clearly going to go after the super PACs and donor class. I know when you hate a candidate you start to live in this bubble but step out of it, and you'll see this has been part of his campaign message from the start. Just four years of tearing the establishment apart, or even potentially having that happen, is a better alternative than another Regean, Bush, Bush Jr, Obama, etc. I want an individual to run the country with his select few advisors. Not money. It's only four years, and two of them will be a stalemate.

Let's focus on the point I think you're trying to make here. You're willing to let Trump raise hell for 4 years, in the hopes that it will all be worth it because he'll wipe the slate clean and "wake the people up" to the corruption in Washington. What reason do you have for believing that some white knight will emerge from this chaos and destruction and steer the country back in the right direction? If anything, a Trump presidential run will lower the bar even further than it already is, and allow any shitty candidate to gain momentum in 2020 just because people will be desperate for anything better than Trump. I don't see how Donald going on a witch hunt for 4 years and attacking everyone he doesn't like will be better for the country short-term or long-term. At what cost to American's reputation worldwide? At what cost to foreign and domestic relations? At what cost to everything?

2 years of stalemate is optimistic in my opinion. The gridlock Obama faced while in office will be nothing compared to the army of lawmakers waiting to shut their ears to Trump as soon as he takes over. Being a leader is about making allies, not enemies. Trump has constantly been making enemies since he started campaigning. You can blame it on the media brainwashing us all you want, but it's hypocritical to say that people are ignoring their candidate's faults and changing the subject. Hell, you know I once argued that a lot of what the media has said about Trump is worthy of debate because it's been taken out of context or blown out of proportion. But it has gotten harder and harder, and now straight up impossible to defend it with each passing month.

Let's take what the media and other people say about Trump out of the equation for now, and just focus on what he has personally said/done. He said he would debate Bernie, then said he wouldn't debate Bernie. Not only does this contradict his "alpha male" gimmick, but it showed how poor he is at thinking on his feet and the consequences this would have when he's president. When he was repeatedly questioned about his racist comments toward a Mexican judge (and I watched the full interview), he kept changing the subject and didn't try to refute it at all, when all he had to do was explain that the judge would be biased because of Trump's stance on illegal immigration. Then there's his lack of plans and policies which was obvious when he debated Hillary, his revolving door of changing opinions which was evident when he debated himself. As Bernie once said, "Donald Trump has been known to change his mind several times a day."

I'm not sure which theory is more believable - that Trump is in the race just to throw it for Hillary, or that he's in it just for the ego trip of being president while Mike Pence and the rest of his cabinet pull the real stings backstage. What I don't believe is that Trump's goal is to fight corruption and tear down the establishment. Maybe I would be more inclined to buy that if it was actually the clear focus of his campaign, rather than attacking anyone and everyone else constantly. Even if Trump says something nasty about another politician which is true, the people are so turned off by his act that they won't buy a fucking word that comes out of his mouth. This is a fact - you can see it happening and it's only going to get worse. The only thing Trump has put a knife in is himself.

Trump is a patsy hired by Hillary Clinton's major donors, mostly George Soros.
