Even before participants in Thursday's event — about 100 Muslims, mostly students and children — could get to White's office, they encountered opposition from a small group of protestors outside the Capitol holding signs, including one that said "Radical Islam is the New Nazi" and another that said "Go Home & Take Obama With You."

Fuckin' Texas, man.

Thread title enough for me.

Funny thing is, even if they did that, they'd still be treated with suspicion and as the "enemy within".

But yeah, good luck with that Texas.

I tried to read the article but my brain got jumbled from stupidity. Are they asking Muslims to completely renounce their beliefs and become "Americanized"? Or just say the Pledge of Allegiance.

I hit my head hard today, reading hurts :lol

I'd be more shocked if this was an elected official from any other state, but it's Texas. Old people who don't want to "change" for better or worse move, live, and vote there. Of course he won an election there.
