That means that when these decisions have gone to a federal court, the court has now ruled against the ban 16 out of 16 times :tim

The rest of these states better get in line now, because the wheels of history are now turning in the right direction.

Why is this even an issue still?

Its obvious that the majority of people are either for gay marriage or just don't give a shit about it either way so why do these states keep trying to ban it?

Brings a tear to my eye.

It's really uplifting to see how far we've come on this issue over the last 10 years. There was a time when I thought we could be waiting decades to see society really progressing when it came to gay marriage, but public opinion on it has come a long way. A lot of momentum has been building over the last few years.

I think we're having a referendum on gay marriage next year, so I'm looking forward to seeing the results of that vote. Based on opinion polls it looks like gay marriage will be made legal in Ireland soon, which is fantastic.

Aaaaaaaaaaand its gone from Indiana. Fuck Indiana. Fuck it.

All because a woman in the next county over used the church to get her way.
