So New Yorkers, is this true?

Postby AkydefGoldberg » May 19, '15, 12:58 pm

So, we had a guy come in today doing a presentation on his company's product which is to help us obtain feedback on our service quickly through a ratings system.

So, I listened through the presentation but I perked up when said, "in New York, you can even rate your bin man!" and I was like, really?

So, out of the things you could rate in New York, you can erm, rate your bin man? lol

I'm just looking for the definition of bin man. No need to go off route.

We call them garbage men, or garbage collectors. Unless they keep the bins themselves it sounds a little silly to say he collects bins. :P

Incorrect the answer is a bag, then a can, then a truck, then a dump. No bin in that equation. 'Merica!

I'm surprised the chips/crisps topic hasn't sparked an online brawl on here yet. The last time 'fish and chips' were brought up on here (a little while back), @The Legend actually thought we ate fish with crisps over here. That's always made me chuckle.

Fascinating, I never knew that Googling 'trash can' would result in that outcome.
