Is this what TNA has come to?

Postby Str8Shooter » Jun 01, '16, 6:44 pm

Wha..... I don't even know what to say. In fairness I've heard this Matt vs Jeff feud has been good, but I don't know what this is supposed to be. The weird rotating camera shots, the thrown baby, the slow motion move. This is hilarious.

I actually loved it. It's ridiculous, cheesy, corny, and TERRIBLY acted and edited. It is so bad you can not look away. So bad its good sensibility going on here. It is like a backyard wrestling feud with its contrived acting and 'ostentatious' camerawork. It's deplorably hilarious and fun, and I wish there were more like it.

Finally watched this. If TNA was going for something so bad that it's awesome, then mission accomplished. If they were taking this really seriously though, then that does not bode well. Not well at all.

I just looked at TNA's Youtube channel. The vast majority of their videos average about 10 to 17 thousand view with a few hovering around 20 some thousand.

This video broke half a million and is pushing past 600k. The next closest videos with over 100k views are the cut down version, and a parody by EC3.

Good for them, they're working it for what they can. They need all the attention they can get. Regardless of whether this was bad on purpose or not. TNA is dying, and I've heard that creatively it's gotten pretty good at times recently. They're letting wrestlers run with the ball, and this is one of the things that we got. I doubt the Hardys are too dumb to know how corny this is. I think they did it on purpose since, you know, what does TNA have to lose at this point?

It's sad to see how far TNA has fallen. #RIPTNA

Exactly. They can put on great shows with great wrestling and solid stories, and nobody's going to give a fuck. They need something totally outside the box like this to get people's attention on the product, and it's working.
