Classic Wrestling

Although I've seen perhaps thousands of hours of wrestling, my knowledge of it before the mid 90's is pretty limited. I know all the wrestlers, but have seen very few matches before that time. Anyway I need suggestions, if anyone would be so kind. Early 90's, 80's,70's, or earlier. Any promotion. Any country. I want the best of the best. If you have any recommendations of great stuff that I can also find on the network, you can have my first born. I need to catch up!

I wanted to see some Mid South Wrestling, which I've heard a lot about lately, but I didn't find it on the network. :angrysanta

So I figured I'd check other stuff out instead.

A lot of the NWA stuff from 1989 is very well received and looked back on. Any of the Flair/Steamboat or Flair/Funk matches from that year's PPV's are good. Stuff from Sting and Great Muta is good too. All that stuff is on the network. I'll try and think of some more stuff later.

The whole year is pretty critically acclaimed. Flair and Steamboat had a trilogy of matches that year that are all good. There was an "I Quit" match with Flair and Funk that was really good. Chi Town Rumble and Great American Bash are two of the PPV's from that year.
