For the first time in a bout two weeks I have more than 10 minutes of free time, which means it's time to get these next set of matches up! A true classic vs. a recent favorite. Which advances??

Ah now. I think this might be my #1 choice against my #2 choice. Fuck. I wanted both of these matches to go a lot further. Dammit Tim, you'll pay for this.



Austin/Hart will probably win this one and I don't have a big problem with that. I think the action is a bit better in the Neville/Zayn match, but the story is a bit better in the Austin/Hart match. So my vote would be Austin/Hart too. Plus it made such a massive contribution to the industry as a whole that it's kinda hard to ignore.

Both of these matches have a great balance of in ring action and effective storytelling though. Which is why they're two of my favourites in the entire tournament. I honestly won't be that upset, no matter which one goes through because they both deserve to go far. But I can't see Austin/Hart going out this early.

Neville/Zayn was an incredible showing but it still can't touch Hart/Austin, especially when it's this young.

Yeah, I'm going with Hart/Austin here. Unlike some other matches in this tournament, which have sort of lots their luster with time, Hart/Austin holds up really, really well today. It has a tremendous mix of compelling action and storytelling, and it happened between two of the biggest names in the history of the company at the biggest show.

I don't think people will be talking about Neville/Zayn in another 20 years like they do with Hart/Austin.

Both of these were great matches, no doubt. But it's difficult to say which one is the better one. These two matches come from completely different times periods and the styles of these wrestlers are all different. However, I am going to have to go for Austin/Hart. I still think the storyline adds a lot how great a match is and the feud these two had was awesome.

This is one of the easier picks for me, honestly. Austin/Hart was my choice, an absolute classic that has stood the test of time. I love Neville/Zayn but it doesn't compare in my eyes.
