Watching impact and I swear MVP just said that "thug" is the new code word for nigger?!

It was bleeped out but his mouth/lip movments looked like he droped the n bomb. Am i guessing this right?

^^ Given how TNA has been recording Impact lately, I wouldn't be surprised if this episode was filmed several weeks before Corgan even came on board.

I also think saying he's running the creative department is probably overstating his role slightly. He's one of their senior producers, but I don't think he's got head man credentials at this point.

Billy really does seem to have a passion for the business, I'll give him that. It still just seems really fucking weird.

Little background, when I was growing up, The Smashing Pumpkins were my favorite band of all time. Back when Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness came out, I had a Pumpkins fansite on Geocities. I was in Middle School. My page was actually really successful for a Geocities page, and it got me into web development and I could almost credit my entire wealth of "website knowledge" to that very band and that very fansite that came of it. I still get goosebumps when I hear older Smashing Pumpkins music today, and there's still really weird kindred bonds formed between old school Pumpkins fans when they happen to find out each other are fans (ie; "Nice Zero shirt, they're my favorite band" - "Really!? Me TOO! Did we just become best friends?" - "YUP").

Growing up, professional wrestling was also my favorite visual entertainment. Obviously something that still interests me today (albeit the interest is dying faster than karaoke night with a blind, deaf singer).

Now those two worlds are colliding.. MINDFUCK

I kind of really hope Billy turns out to be genius at this shit and fixes TNA up.
