Alberto Del Rio possibly heading to MMA

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that apparently former WWE Champion Alberto El Patron (Alberto Del Rio) will be returning to MMA soon. It's believed that he will be fighting for either Bellator MMA or Glory Kickboxing. There are other promotions that have talked with Patron but those are the two groups that have been in negotiations as of late.

Didn't realize that he has a background in MMA. I knew he'd had a lot of success in Mexican wrestling, but yeah, not fighting.

I hope wrestlers think of how they may hurt the sport if they go into MMA and they do bad. Wrestling already gets not respect. Del Rio doesn't have the best record as it is, and that was before he was 37. Having said that I hope he fights with his mask on. He was pretty ripped and looked bad ass.
