Superstar of the Year: Seth Rollins

In my opinion, I don't think there is any argument against Rollins having been the best performer in the WWE in 2014. It was a weak year for the company, financially and creatively. However, in spite of everything (injuries, departures, weak writing, etc), Seth Rollins continually put on the best matches and made his opponents look better with everything he did. Rollins has improved by leaps and bounds on the microphone, a weakness of his coming into the WWE, and now I can say that he is one of my favorite guys to listen to when he has a mic in his hands. He is the best heel the WWE has right now and will hopefully be WWE World Heavyweight Champion in 2015. He is in a class of his own.

Actually, check that. I totally forgot about Sami Zayn. He's close. I just prefer Rollins but Zayn's rise to the NXT Championship was great.

Tag Team of the Year: The Miz and Damien Mizdow

The Miz has always been an underrated in-ring wrestler. It will always be odd that he main evented a WrestleMania but he has proven he is a reliable hand in the midcard ala mid-00s Chris Jericho and Christian. Mizdow is entertaining in his role but I still think The Miz gets overlooked by too many people. He has been golden in his Hollywood gimmick.

Most Overrated Wrestler: N/A

Nobody sticks out.

Most Underrated Wrestler: Batista

The Miz is close but Batista was the most despised individual in the WWE. The heel heat he was getting was thunderous and far more than anyone else on the roster. Something about Batista just makes you hate him. I really wish Batista had stayed long enough and Bryan remained healthy long enough for the two to have a one-on-one match. The most over face against the most over heel.

Breakout Star of the Year: Rusev

And here I thought Rusev was just another nobody. One of the best in-ring workers the company has and his selling is some of the best I have ever seen.

Best Segment/Promo: Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar address the end of The Streak

Without a doubt. Paul Heyman is so, so good.

Best Mic Worker: Paul Heyman

Nobody on the main roster comes to mind. I mean, Ambrose is really good. Same with Rollins. Throw Triple H in the mix too. Heyman's just had so many great promos this year, hard not to go with him.

Feud of the Year: Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins

Despite the weak ending, this was easily the most well-done feud by the WWE in a long time. Made sense, had 2 really good matches (SummerSlam and the Raw Falls Count Anywhere match), and some great mic work with solid storyline progression.

Best Entrance Theme: "Catch Your Breath" - Finn Balor's theme

How can you not love this theme?

Worst Entrance Theme: "Shitty Theme" - Cesaro's theme

Sigh.

Best PPV or Show of the Year: WrestleMania 30

Nothing else really comes close due to A) WWE sucking and B) WrestleMania 30 being one of the best WrestleMania's of all-time.

Best Moment of the Year: Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn winning the WWE World Heavyweight and NXT Championship's Respectively

Two genuinely great moments that everyone wanted to see.

Superstar of the Year: Seth Rollins

It's so fucking awesome that I'm naming Rollins as my superstar of the year. He began the year as mere 'KING ROLLINS' - darling of the forum because of how dreamy and talented he was but also as the 'third' member of The Shield. When the group was set to disband leading up to Wrestlemania all the talk was about how Rollins would cope on his own without the destined-for-greatness Reigns and too-talented-to-fail Ambrose. Instead Rollins has been the most successful of the group and is currently the top heel in the company - again, fucking awesome.

Tag Team of the Year: The Uso's

Tempting as it is to give this one to Miz and Mizdow I don't really see how you can give it to anyone other than The Uso's; stellar entertainment and terrific matches throughout the year they managed to bring relative prestige to the tag team titles with a nice long reign. They seem to have excellent chemistry with just about everyone they've faced and have been too consistent to not win this one.

Most Overrated Wrestler: Roman Reigns

I actually feel really bad for this one because I don't actually think Reigns is underrated at all, at least not by anyone on here. In fact most people have realistic opinions on Reigns' ability so in the end this came down to tough luck as not very many other candidates stood out. The reason I opted for Roman in the end was down to the monster push he's currently on which we can only assume will include a Royal Rumble win followed by a World Title - whilst I don't think he's overrated per say, he's definitely not ready for what's coming...which again is really harsh because he has no control over any of that and none of it has actually happened yet.

Most Underrated Wrestler: Adrian Neville

But Nick, Adrian Neville was the NXT Champion for pretty much the entirety of 2014 - how can you say he's underrated? Perfectly valid question but the thing I've noticed this year is despite Neville being involved in some phenomenal matches, proving his tremendous wrestling ability time and again and entertaining weekly I've always found him under-appreciated. People love to talk about the Sami Zayn's, Tyler Breeze's and more recently Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Hideo Itami (and for good reason, they're all brilliant) but never really speak much about Neville when for me he's just as talented as those guys.

Breakout Star of the Year: Seth Rollins/Ambrose

Seth Rollins is the obvious answer. I can't name him my superstar of the year and not also name him my breakout star for the same reasoning. I'll throw Ambrose in their as well for becoming the top face in the company in a time when the WWE had no top stars to cheer on.

Best Segment/Promo: Paul Heyman addresses the end of the streak

Go watch the link Messiah posted, need I say more?

Best Mic Worker: Triple H

Brilliant as Heyman is, his promo work grew tediously repetitive in my opinion. Triple H was the GOAT talker this year, bar none.

Feud of the Year: Bryan/Authority

The feud they didn't want but the people made them do. I've never felt as emotionally attached to a performer as I was for Daniel Bryan in the first quarter of the year, not since I was a child and thought this was all real life. It was astounding to me just how out of touch the WWE is, thinking that people actually wanted to see Batista vs Randy Orton main event Wrestlemania. The sheer will of the fans refusing to accept the shite they were being offered was unlike anything I've seen before - everyone wanted Daniel Bryan to main event Wrestlemania and win the title and wouldn't settle for anything less. If you weren't invested in his rise to the top this year then you clearly have no soul.

Best Entrance Theme: Bray Wyatt

Just a good song that's perfect for the character, really. Could've given it to a good 4/5 to be honest.

Worst Entrance Theme: Cesaro

Get out of here with that Smackdown vs RAW shit. The entrance theme equivalent to ebola.

Best PPV or Show of the Year: Wrestlemania 30

Just a fucking great show from top to bottom that managed the rare feat of living up to the hype and sending everyone home happy. Moments like Bryan's title win and Brock ending the streak will live on forever and the atmosphere on PTF was electric, hoping for more of the same this year!

Best Moment of the Year: Daniel Bryan wins the World Title at Wrestlemania 30

I don't feel like I need to say anything more on this. Simply the best moment of the past decade.
