Superstar of the Year: Seth Rollins
In my opinion, I don't think there is any argument against Rollins having been the best performer in the WWE in 2014. It was a weak year for the company, financially and creatively. However, in spite of everything (injuries, departures, weak writing, etc), Seth Rollins continually put on the best matches and made his opponents look better with everything he did. Rollins has improved by leaps and bounds on the microphone, a weakness of his coming into the WWE, and now I can say that he is one of my favorite guys to listen to when he has a mic in his hands. He is the best heel the WWE has right now and will hopefully be WWE World Heavyweight Champion in 2015. He is in a class of his own.
Actually, check that. I totally forgot about Sami Zayn. He's close. I just prefer Rollins but Zayn's rise to the NXT Championship was great.
Tag Team of the Year: The Miz and Damien Mizdow
The Miz has always been an underrated in-ring wrestler. It will always be odd that he main evented a WrestleMania but he has proven he is a reliable hand in the midcard ala mid-00s Chris Jericho and Christian. Mizdow is entertaining in his role but I still think The Miz gets overlooked by too many people. He has been golden in his Hollywood gimmick.
Most Overrated Wrestler: N/A
Nobody sticks out.
Most Underrated Wrestler: Batista
The Miz is close but Batista was the most despised individual in the WWE. The heel heat he was getting was thunderous and far more than anyone else on the roster. Something about Batista just makes you hate him. I really wish Batista had stayed long enough and Bryan remained healthy long enough for the two to have a one-on-one match. The most over face against the most over heel.
Breakout Star of the Year: Rusev
And here I thought Rusev was just another nobody. One of the best in-ring workers the company has and his selling is some of the best I have ever seen.
Best Segment/Promo: Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar address the end of The StreakWithout a doubt. Paul Heyman is so, so good.
Best Mic Worker: Paul Heyman
Nobody on the main roster comes to mind. I mean, Ambrose is really good. Same with Rollins. Throw Triple H in the mix too. Heyman's just had so many great promos this year, hard not to go with him.
Feud of the Year: Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins
Despite the weak ending, this was easily the most well-done feud by the WWE in a long time. Made sense, had 2 really good matches (SummerSlam and the Raw Falls Count Anywhere match), and some great mic work with solid storyline progression.
Best Entrance Theme: "Catch Your Breath" - Finn Balor's themeHow can you not love this theme?
Worst Entrance Theme: "Shitty Theme" - Cesaro's themeSigh.
Best PPV or Show of the Year: WrestleMania 30
Nothing else really comes close due to A) WWE sucking and B) WrestleMania 30 being one of the best WrestleMania's of all-time.
Best Moment of the Year: Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn winning the WWE World Heavyweight and NXT Championship's Respectively
Two genuinely great moments that everyone wanted to see.
