Any way you could sticky this, man?

I think the show has been quite badly built. At this point all of the matches should be announced, but we only have about half so far and most of those were announced in the last week. It's no way to treat the biggest show of the year.

That being said, I think the show itself will deliver. TNA has been great at delivering in its big shows recently. And I'm looking forward to the Ultimate X and the main event quite a bit. Roode v Angle has potential too if that match gets made.

I tried but there's no option for it :( I'll have to message Tim about it.

As for the show delivering, I think it will also deliver. The Ultimate X match looks fantastic and AJ/Bully should be decent. My question is what is up with Sting/Magnus? I missed the show the past 2 weeks and only saw clips and didn't see anything on that. What's the reason behind it?

Magnus is getting in his own head because he came close to winning the Bound For Glory series and came up short. Since then he's been challenging himself by trying to take on multiple opponents but he keeps getting screwed out of the victories. So he's been throwing little tantrums and worrying about not being good enough and getting himself on the map. So Sting says that he's going to put him on the map at Bound For Glory.

It's a bit weird, but Magnus has been playing the part pretty well so far. I hope this isn't the beginning of a heel turn for him though, as he's been working well as a face.

I really hope Bad Influence win the tag titles at BFG, they've been one of the best things about TNA for a bloody long time

See, i want TNA to succeed so much, yet they make it so hard to trust in them with such stupid choices. I'm sorry, but they've took two huge names in Jeff Hardy and Austin Aries, and a well built established former World Champion in Chris Sabin, and thrown all three men in what may be the most overused gimmick match ever. Hardy and Aries should have been put on the card in a meaningful way, not just a random match.

Its the same with AJ and Bully. Why are we getting Dixie's heel turn now, and not AFTER Bound for Glory, leaving time for Bully and AJ to heat up the feud they have. It seems sloppy and rushed, as does the rest of the card.

All the matches should have been booked weeks ago, that's the entire purpose of getting rid of the other PPV's and thus building up the others more. I have no doubt the show will be great, but the buyrate and ratings are never going to improve with this shame of booking going on.

I thought we were going to get the inevitable Main Event Mafia vs Aces and Eights Match that would spell the end of Aces and Eights, but with Magnus and Sting fighting each other, it doesn't seem likely we're getting it.

I have no clue what happened to the build up of this card. This is the same company that booked the 6 month Aces and Eights takeover and Bully winning the title, The Immortal takeover that started as soon as Hogan came into TNA, yet they couldn't seem to plan one match for Bound For Glory until a month before.

Was Angle vs Rampage planned for this? They seemed to hint at a future match when they had that face-to-face staredown. I'm not exactly disappointed with it not happening, since I don't think even Angle could have saved that one from not sucking.

Its all a bid off isn't it? They seemed to using Rampage is some form for the show, and then he suddenly got pulled. And they'd been building up the Aces and Eights vs the Mafia stuff, and then the E&A members just started to drop of.

Its annoying, because this card show be a showcase of what TNA is capable, and annoying, i think this may show the best they can do right now!

^That's exactly how I feel. BFG usually has a pretty decent card with main event talent actually being used right. Not that Hardy and Aries don't have a good match with Ultimate X but I feel that they should be booked in a better way. Same goes for Sabin as well.

I'm wondering how they will fill out the rest of the show. Roode v Angle seems possible, but that still leaves them with at least 3 matches to book I'd imagine. And it's hard to see them pulling it off without some of them looking like complete filler.

I am finding it almost unforgivable that Bad Influence don't have a fixed spot on the card too. They only get booked for the main show if they win the tag gauntlet in the pre-show. These are some of the most over guys in the company, and the most talented. You don't take that for granted. Give these guys a fucking match.

Also, the Knockout match is going to suck almost definitely. Gail Kim is the only really talented knockout on the roster at this point. Tessmacher is good too (and really working her new role), but there's no way those two are working together. ODB hasn't been great lately and Velvet never was. And if they think Awful Kong is the solution to these problems, they're wrong. I understand why they want a monster female, but from what I've seen of her she can't act and she can't wrestle great either. Back when she won gutcheck, I couldn't believe they didn't pick the MMA girl instead. She actually had potential.

That's another big issue I have with this card: Where does Bobby Roode fit in? This guy is way too good to be kept off the card.

Roode v Angle seems to be almost a lock, but either way Roode will have a match. There's no way that's not happening. His Hall of Fame induction segment will be a way to set up a match for him at Bound For Glory, I guarantee it.

At first I actually thought you were talking about Awesome Kong returning :lol But I agree that Tapa or whatever her name is sucks. They're building her as a dominant force but she's a joke.

I think tonight's Impact did a good job of building to BFG. I have no doubt that its going to be a pretty good show. I just wish they had built the card up sooner because the matches are really lacking that extra something to make them feel special. Last year we had Roode vs Storm which was the culmination of their almost year-long feud, the year before it was Sting vs Hogan that had a long build up. None of the matches have that this year.

That's a very good point, there really isn't that final match for a long feud happening at BFG. This show last night really did a good job building up some matches however.

In fairness, this Lei Tapa or whatever she's called really is designed to be a replacement for Kong. And she's very much inferior in every way. So Awful Kong seems like a good name for her. I understand the appeal of having a woman with a different body type to compete against the others, but Kong was more than just a large wrestler. She was actually a talented one.

They did a bit of a better job building up some of the matches this week. But it just should have started a long time ago. This week's beatdown of Styles by Bully did a lot to build up some heat between them and would have worked great 2 or 3 weeks ago.

I am looking forward to Roode v Angle now, even though that was just thrown together at the last minute. Not sure where they have to go between the two guys, but at least it should be a good match.

I'll definitely be checking this out live if the Broncos are blowing out the Colts early in the game. If not, I know it'll be up for download by Monday morning. Looking forward to the Ultimate X match the most, and the TNA World Title bout.
