ROH crown a new World Champion after a stellar PPV

Michael Elgin defeated Adam Cole to become the new ROH World Champion!

I'm not a big fan of Elgin myself but he definitely deserves his chance and I thought the match last night was great, some fucking crazy spots to end the match. Sad to see Cole drop the gold but what with him heading to NJPW for their big tournament I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised this happened.

Anyone else watch the PPV last night? I think @Daz did. Fucking awesome show IMO. Some awesome matches - Steen/Young was great and I got emotional watching Steen's speech afterwards (reminded me of when Danielson/Nigel had to do the same thing), Bad Influence's return to ROH was great and their match with ReDragon was superb. Even the stuff I wasn't particularly looking forward too I found myself enjoying. Say what you will about Matt Hardy (really, do. I could use a laugh) but as a heel in ROH he's hilarious tbh.

NXT aside, best wrestling show I've seen in a while.
