Tiebreakers for tourney matches?

Postby Everlong » Apr 14, '14, 10:41 am

Just in case this happens in the last couple rounds, how should I break a tie for tournament matches?

Options are:

A) Coin flip
B) Person who had the most people post on their behalf
C) Side of the argument with most rep points

I'd probably favor option B, but let me know which you prefer and if you have any other ideas.

Make Daz and Messiah debate and the winner faces off with Steve and Steve crushes them if they aren't aligned with his point of view.

Since you are in charge of this Tim, I'd say make it like US Senate rules. If there's ever a 50-50 tie the VP casts the deciding vote. Whoever you vote for moves on.

I'd say whoever had the most votes overall in the tournament goes forward but I really want Bret to beat The Rock :lol. But it seems the most fair to me.

Or Legend's suggestion. I can live with that one.

If it winds up being tied in both votes and posts, I'll record myself doing a coin flip. :fro

Can I change my vote to most votes total. Seems the most fair.

Most votes total wouldn't really do anything to show which of these guys is more popular though, a lot of their votes in previous rounds would be more of an indicator of how popular their opponent is.
