What are some realistic dream matches that never happened?

One that always gets brought up is HBK/Rock, IIRC there were some huge personality issues that got in the way there that prevented that one from happening.

Kurt Angle vs. Daniel Bryan will probably happen some day when Kurt does his inevitable last ride in the WWE, but if it would have happened just a couple years ago even, it would have been so much better.

Brock Lesnar vs. Austin was supposed to happen, and Austin wound up walking out of the company because he didn't like the way he was booked to do the job.

Lesnar vs. HBK never happened at all either, as far as I can remember.

HBK/Rock would've been one hell of a match considering how they sell like they've been struck by death with a lot of moves . Would've been a great match to happen at Wrestlemania 20 instead of the Evolution crap that The Rock wrestled in.

I think Daniel Bryan vs. Kurt Angle could've been the greatest match in wrestling history. It's sad knowing how bad Angle's health and body is now.

Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan would be another amazing match as well.

CM Punk vs Chris Benoit was always a dream match and it almost happened....but yah. Unless you meant wrestlers who are still alive.

Sting vs Undertaker and The Rock vs Shawn Michaels are the biggest two to come to mind. HBK and The Rock are two of the biggest names in wrestling history and two of the most entertaining wrestlers ever. The fact that match never happened is a damn travesty. And then the Deadman and The Crow were probably the two most notable and popular gimmicks of the 90's. Even now you got guys like me and prophet chomping at the bit to see two old guys who are long past their prime finally face each other.

Stone Cold and CM Punk is another one I think people would have enjoyed. I don't know how the match would be but the feud itself would be one for the ages. Have the ass kicking drunk trading shots, both physical and verbal, with the straightedge superstar. SES Punk vs SCSA would have been a feud remembered for decades.
