RoH announces upcoming joint shows with NJPW

As announced today at Ring of Honor’s inaugural #HonorCon in Philadelphia, ROH will be joining forces with New Japan Pro Wrestling for two shows. The first show will be on May 10th for Border Wars. A week later, ROH and NJPW will invade the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

Among the talents coming in for these two big May shows are current IWGP Intercontinental Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi, Shinsuke Nakamura, KUSHIDA, and the IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada, reports the Wrestling Observer.

That's a hell of a lot of wrestling talent in one building. Could definitely be worth checking out, assuming it'll be recorded.

Pretty big coupe for RoH to pull this off, those are some of the biggest stars in Japan. TNA should have jumped on something like this. Although I know they have the agreement with Mutoh's Wrestle-1. This would have been better for them though.

ROH should just book Okada and Tanahashi against one another and let them tear down the house like they've been doing in Japan the past two years.
