TNA officially confirms Sting's release

First official word on his status…

- According to wrestlezone.com, reader Ritchie Cates reached out to TNA asking whether or not Sting would be at this year's event as he was buying tickets for the Lockdown PPV. TNA issued the following response…

Hi Ritch:

Sting is not scheduled to appear at Lockdown 2014 PPV or Fan InterAction, unfortunately Sting is no longer with the company so therefore we have no booked appearances for him at any events in the future, Sorry about that.

It could happen.

It would make sense for TNA to kind of shit on WWE's potential announcement of Taker vs. Sting by confirming his release.

But yeah they are past it but worth a watch. To see who breaks a bone first.

You guys have no idea how gutted I am/was about this. Sting missed the UK tour by a matter of weeks, was really looking forward to seeing him live dammit. :batista2
