Still haven't had a chance to read the whole thing, mostly just segments and a couple scans of other stuff, but I figured I'd put up some thoughts.
The Kaiser/Haynes stuff was great. Even though Haynes will need more time to establish his character, I love the way he's been built as Kaiser's kryptonite. Not sure at this point if Haynes or Thomas will be the one to fight Kaiser in the coming weeks, but either would be a great choice.
Speaking of the coming weeks, stuff is getting a lot harder for me to predict, which is a good thing. I had just kind of presumed that Evans/Logan and Daz/Miller would be extended for another month, so I'm honestly surprised at how things worked out on this episode. With Miller being "suspended," Hess apparently looking to get involved with Daz and Evans taking the step up to face Foster apparently, it's hard to know where Logan stands, and I honestly have no idea. I guess if I had to predict, I'd say he gets involved in the title scene as well, setting up a triple threat between Foster/Evans/Logan. Logan definitely wouldn't be likely to give up on Evans so easily, and I would have said he'd be most likely to go on and face Kaiser, but now Kaiser will be dealing with either Haynes or Thomas.
I guess if I had to predict what the next PPV card would look like, it'd be this:
Foster vs. Evans vs. Logan
Thomas vs. Miller
Kaiser vs. Haynes (although I really don't know about this, given they just faced each other on Onslaught)
Magnum vs. Gryphon (but then where is Zaid going?)
Valentino vs. Dylan Kyle
Daz vs. Hess
Reece vs. Bishop
That's a few of the matches we're looking at right now, anyway. The rest is difficult to say. But honestly, while it'd be fairly easy to slide Logan into the main event scene, I think Foster and Evans alone have plenty to go off to get a lot of mileage out of the feud by themselves. So we'll see what happens.
For those who were asking, the answer is yes, Omega's career is over. The plan from day one was for HFX and I to put together a feud that would have Magnum end Omega's career. He's done as an active wrestler, though I can't speak on HFX's behalf as to whether we'll ever see him again in any capacity or not. But my guess is if we do, it'll be quite a long time.
The Burke stuff was all written well, but I'm kind of glad that Miller took him out at the end, because I think we could go without some authority figure interaction for a while. Going to be interesting to see what comes of that. With Burke being gone, one has to suspect that Miller's suspension isn't exactly going to be binding.
Is Hess going to attempt to bring Daz into his flock? Maybe he'll try, but I doubt he'll succeed. I like the idea for the storyline, though. Daz is at his most vulnerable point that we've ever seen him at, so he'd be far more tempted to take the bait from Hess in a situation like this than he ever has been before. Assuming these interactions continue, that should be interesting to watch.
That's all for now.
