Will Johnny Devine return?

So we saw Johnny Devine show up at Resurgence, and give a cool pump up speech to Nick Foster. Great moment, figured it'd be a one off thing.

Not so fast, apparently. At Onslaught, we get another mention of Devine. Kaiser mentions that Foster only won because of Devine, then criticized his whole "Mafia 4 Lyfe" attitude, then said that if he ever runs into Devine, he'll kick his ass.

That's either a huge fucking red herring, or it's teasing that we're getting Kaiser/Devine at some point. And I know that Tom has always said he'd love to work a program with Kaiser.

I read that and marked out. If they just threw that in to tease us, then they are evil, evil people who deserve to stub their toe on something hard.

All I know is that when I found out I'd be winning the world title I wanted Tom/Devine to show up on the show to make the moment a bit more special for me personally, Goff obliged being the gentlemen he is and wrote a lovely segment that I'll hold in high regard and associate with my big moment.

That's as much as I know. I don't think they'll have anything planned at the moment but now they've foreshadowed it and what with Foster using the DvD in beating Cavanah I don't think it'll be too hard to set up the dream match of Devine/Kaiser somewhere down the road should Tom decide to come back for it...and as Tim correctly pointed out I'm pretty certain Goff would come back to squash Kaiser
