EPISODE 8
The road to Resurgence continues, and perhaps nobody has more momentum going up that road than Nick Foster. With two massive consecutive victories over Spencer Miller in a Last Man Standing match at Oblivion, and over Amos Hess in the Golden Gauntlet on Onslaught, Nick Foster is officially the #1 contender for the PCW World Heavyweight Championship. We are expected to hear from Foster at the beginning of Onslaught. How will the Brit react to getting his first ever one-on-one world championship match? And what does his opponent, Kaiser Cavanah, have to say about his newest challenge?
Last week on Onslaught, Spencer Miller snapped and attacked Flash. Unfortunately, the actions of PCW's self-proclaimed "assassin" incurred the wrath of the British Rose, Daz. Tensions are bound to be running high after the nasty set of circumstances that brought these two together. What does Daz have to say about Miller's actions?
The relationship between Johnny Valentino and Gia DiFiero has certainly seen better days. In his highly anticipated PPV match at Oblivion, Johnny V picked up the win over his rival Zaid, but it was only later that he found out Gia helped him secure that win by kissing Zaid. Last week on Onslaught, this information was revealed to Johnny, and his reaction to it was not a pleasant one to say the least. It seems that the real winner at Oblivion was Zaid, and the issue between these three seems to be anything but over. What can we expect from them this week?
It's official: at Resurgence, it will be Magnum Phillips vs The Buck. The Buck said that he's going to train hard over the next couple of weeks to get back into-ring shape for their match, but how much can you really prepare for a man like Magnum Phillips? The physical rookie has been taking names and kicking ass ever since he arrived in PCW, and in all likelihood, that mean streak will continue this week on Onslaught. Rumor has it that Magnum has some kind of "surprise" for the PCW fans this week. What can that surprise possibly be?
Onslaught will have no shortage of in-ring intensity this week, as 3 matches have been announced. First off, Kid Spartan will make his in-ring debut to take on the daredevil Gabriel Reece in what is sure to be a high-flying collision. One half of the Comeau Brothers, Carter Comeau, will take on one half of the new duo, "BJ" Bradley Johnson Washington. And last but certainly not least, the new PCW Tag Team Champions Neo Runway Chic will be in action for the first time since their incredible ladder match at Oblivion.
All this and more, as PCW Onslaught will be LIVE from Salt Lake City, Utah!
