David Logan Announces Sponsorship of One-Night-Only PCW, WCSF Reunion
Wrestling’s biggest stars gather under one roof next month

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – David Logan, the wrestling legend and former owner and commissioner of the WCSF, announced he is financially backing an upcoming one-night-only wrestling reunion for the WCSF and PCW to take place in the wrestling hotbed of Chicago.

Logan confirmed the plans on Wednesday, bringing an end to months of speculation. WCSF has been defunct for five years, and PCW for nearly three, but many of the companies’ biggest stars have maintained large fanbases and have taken their talents to the independent circuit in that time.

“Fans of the WCSF and PCW have been hoping for a rebirth of the federations, and while that is not something I am prepared to commit to at this time, I am thrilled to be able to bring many fan favorites together for an evening of entertainment that will be remembered for quite some time,” said Logan. “The event will be neither a WCSF nor a PCW branded event, but one of its own entity. I will be present, but will not be taking any control over match making or logistics—I’m going to leave that entirely up to the wrestlers who have been waiting so long for this opportunity to display their talents on the big stage once again.”

Already confirmed to be in attendance is Nick Foster, the final PCW Champion. Foster was on the verge of becoming one of the biggest stars internationally the business has seen when PCW met its untimely end. He is expected to headline the event.

Other confirmed mega-stars who will be in attendance include Kaiser Cavanah, the charismatic and bombastic villain; Amos Hess, the bruising religious zealot; Shane Evans, the intense and unrelenting fighter; and “The British Rose” Daz, a multiple-time world champion and one of the finest wrestlers to ever grace the sport. The aging Daz is one of the few to be in attendance who has not wrestled since the last PCW show, and it remains to be seen whether he will be a physical competitor at the event.

Logan promised many more familiar faces, some of whom have not been seen on the big stage since the closing of the WCSF, as well as some big surprises that will give the fans in attendance plenty to cheer for.

“We’re very excited to get this event put together and to bring back some fan favorites for an evening of excitement,” said Logan.
