WWE 2016 PPV Schedule. (Brand Specific PPVs)

Please take this grain of salt, but this seems to be the leaked WWE PPV schedule for the rest the year. It includes 15 PPVs/Network Specials, but some are brand specific.

I will be honest, 15 PPVs is a shit ton. This shows a PPV every two weeks (not including the big 4), if you watch Raw and Smackdown. No way am I watching that much Wrestling. I am going to pick a brand and stick with it. Holy hell, could you imagine watching a PPV, Raw, SD and NXT for 4 straight days, EVERY TWO WEEKS!? I am worn out just thinking about that.

Yeah, it's a lot. At the moment, I tend to stay up to watch most of the pay per views live, even though it means I only get 3-4 hours sleep before work the next day. It's fun to watch the shows live, and I can put up with a particularly tired Monday once a month. Every two weeks is a different story though. I'm not sure I could justify that to myself, night person though I am.

We'll have to see how the brand split shakes out though. I'd love to stick with one brand, but the chances of all your favourite talent ending up on the one show is very small.

Honestly, if it were me, I'd make Survivor Series all Raw vs SD matches. But for the month of November I'd allow all superstars on both shows. So you could set up Raw vs SD matches and then you could still build the matches on both shows with opponents interacting. Or if that's too much maybe the last Raw and SD before SS has both brands on it.

I know in theory this may be too many PPV's. But technically you're getting more bang for you buck for your Network sub. And you could just skip it Live if you wanted and then just watch the matches you want later.

That's totally what I'm going to end up doing. And I'll likely still watch all the shows, but I'll end up skipping the stuff I'm not interested in. Which isn't the worst result for me. I could be happier long term. I do feel it will result in less people watching their stuff live though, and their big shows just feeling that bit less special.

The bigger question is do we go back to separate sections for Raw and Smackdown. They will have different roster and won't interact as much, so it makes sense. What's say you @Everlong

Have you seen how much activity the section gets? We can't separate anything.

I really hope this isn't the real schedule. The best part of splitting the roster was if you split the current PPV calendar you'd give both shows more time for story development which would improve the product. This becomes the worst of both worlds.

I am shocked for Survivor Series they TBA the venue. I hope they don't put it at Ricoh Coliseum where they had Roadblock this year. The venue is for minor hockey and can hold only 6K fans where if they put it at the Air Canada Centre they can get 20+ K

I don't really understand what exactly they're going to do with a three hour program, when they're cutting the roster in half and can barely sustain three hours right now. Just so senseless.
