WWE says original Sin Cara still under contract

"The original performer behind the Sin Cara mask remains under contract to WWE.

WWE will continue to invest in the character and retain it as part of WWE programming."

That's the short statement WWE released about it. So it sounds like Mistico is still employed with WWE, or so they're telling us. Who knows what that means.

Sounds like they are looking for a replacement for Mistico. I really hope they don't pick Sami Zayn to be the next Sin Cara, would be a waste of talent. I would be perfectly fine with Hunico as Sin Cara since he is better than Mistico and isn't doing anything right now.

For some god awful reason fans seem to behind him. Guy can't finish a match without a few botches but they love him. For the life of me, I can not figure out why.

Wwe just needs to cut their losses and let him go.
The only thing I can think of for him still being around is he has some insanely stupid terms in him contract that wwe does not want to honor via early release.

He is gonna end up hurting someone else in the ring with the way he performs, fortunately he has only hurt himself to date but that won't always be the case

I guess Monday when Sin Cara wrestled Alberto that it wasn't really the original? I thought it looked like he grew a few feet.
