With the pictures from after Raw showing a Reigns/Cena staredown, could we see Cena win the Rumble and have a Reigns vs Cena Main Event of WM 32? What do you guys think?

It could happen. I still wouldn't bet on it. I think they'll want Cena on the undercard to try and create a second big match. I reckon a match against Lesnar is a little more likely at this point in time. Particularly given that Lesnar isn't building towards any match at Royal Rumble at the moment, and so if he's going to be in the Rumble match itself, I can't see anyone eliminating him from it.

If you think about it though, Cena isn't a bad choice in some ways. If they want to prevent Reigns from becoming John Cena, having him face off against Cena and showing him as differing from his opponent would be a good way to get him cheers. If they really want to get Reigns over as the new face, they could even finally turn Cena heel. Turning your old top babyface makes sense if you're creating a new one. Or even if Cena stays face, he gets such a mixed response most of the time, that it should be easy to get Reigns cheered above him.

The downside though is that Cena would have to win the Rumble and people won't like that. We've had two crappy Royal Rumble outcomes for the last two years, and Cena isn't the great relief that everyone is hoping for this year. Plus, he'd have to equal Austin's record for Royal Rumble wins and that'll bug people too.

It wouldn't be a good match, but it'd be interesting to see who the fans would shit on more. Also, would they turn Reigns heel for that, or would they just try to force an awkward face/face feud?

This only works if they finally turn Cena heel by having him slowly get more and more annoyed and angry about WWE blatantly wanting to replace his role with the younger Reigns.

I could see that happening. I can see Roman turning heel since i know the WWE would love to have Cena as face as long as they can milk the money off merchandise
