I was thinking that the finish of that match on Raw was probably a sign that WWE would be trying to get the "We Want Sasha" chants over. That's a really weird decision though. Because Sasha already has her own personalised chant - "Like A Boss". Which is also a freaking great chant. It would be like if after the "Suplex City" chants started for Brock Lesnar, the WWE tried to encourage people to chant "We Want Lesnar" instead. If the fans create something cool and organic that you can incorporate into your show, then go for it!
Also in order for the fans to chant "We Want Sasha", she'll probably need to be outside the ring watching people wrestle a lot, instead of just being in the ring wrestling herself. Which would be preferable.
As for her turning face, I see the logic behind it. Fans love her too much for her talent, and they respect what she did in her matches with Bayley. No other female wrestler on the main roster has accomplished anything like those matches recently, so fans are going to gravitate towards her. And while she plays a great heel, I don't think the roster has a great face for her to pair off with who could generate a babyface reaction against Sasha the way Bayley did.
I mean, Becky could play face to Sasha's heel and it could work great, but unfortunately Becky isn't being pushed on that level right now, and I'm not sure how they're going to treat Becky's character on the main roster anyway.Turning Sasha face might be the way to go, just for now. She can always turn again down the line.
