Who's gonna watch Tough Enough?

Postby Everlong » Jun 22, '15, 9:20 am

The new format of the show could be interesting, and I've always enjoyed the past seasons of the show. However, I wish Stone Cold was still hosting :(

I agree that Stone Cold hosting would be better but I'll still watch it. Hopefully the winner will go somewhere this time. :lol

Seeing as it's supposedly going to made available in countries where it isn't airing on youtube, I'll probably check it out. At least the first couple episodes and see if it catches my eye.

Given the history of Tough Enough's, watching the show expecting to see any future stars probably isn't wise. Yeah there were some Miz's and John Morrison's and so on, but most people, including the winners do nothing. I mean the last Tough Enough with Austin, the winner was barely around and the first person eliminated is the only one still on the roster.

I can't even believe she actually was the only one out of everyone there to get a roster spot.

At this point I actually feel bad for Melina and Alicia Fox, who get laughed at all the time when people bring this moment up :P

I will be. I am always interested to see how people's careers develop. It sucks that most former winners fade our, but its still a cool journey. I watched the two day try out for this season on the WWE Network and I like this crop of potentials.

They definitely haven't had as much luck recently, but Tough Enough has definitely exposed a lot of talent throughout its history. In season 1, Chris Nowinski, Josh Matthews, Maven, Nidia. Season 2: Jackie Gayda, Shaniqua and Kenny King were all on. Season 3: John Morrison. Season 4: Miz, Ryback, Mitch from Spirit Squad and Boogeyman.

So last season wasn't great, but overall the first four seasons produced 12 wrestlers that we all would readily recognize.

Not sure I think they needed some humor to the contest so they had him on the show. To bad we don't get it here in Canada. I think the WWE network most likely show it when the season is over

WWE streams it to the other countries on their youtube channel. I watched it Live on there.

Yeah, I wasn't a huge fan of the new format of the show. I enjoy the most watching them work in the ring and train with WWE trainers. There was far too little of that on this show.

Yup, the parts with the coaches were the best of the show by far. If they show more of that and less of the annoying drama at the house the show will be pretty alright. Though, the live segments felt pretty awkward to me as well, I think the show could easily do without them.

One thing that confuses me is, if the challenges and the house stuff are all pre-recorded and the losers are chosen live, where do the losers go in the challenges? Unless they're recording the non-live stuff week by week which would surprise me.

I think they probably are recording it week by week for the most part.

Did anyone watch Tough Talk? The post show hosted by Miz on the Network. It was wayyyyy better than the actual show. Every participant got to talk so you got to know them better, and it was way looser and the judges and Miz were actually pretty hilarious, especially Miz and Bryan and Miz and Paige. I encourage everyone to catch it.
