Admit that you were wrong...

Postby Westcoastvibes » Mar 17, '15, 10:07 pm

What better way to start a topic then to shamelessly rip off reddit...

What are some of the things about wwe you were so sure of but ended up being wrong?

1. Undertaker would retire streak in tact
2. Hornswoggle would be a temporary comedy act
3. Wwe couldnt possibly get any worse (still ongoing self motivation)

I thought ADR would last a lot longer than he did.

No shit. He had the look and ability to be around for a while, he just couldn't connect with fans on any level.

I thought Cody Rhodes was DOA, and was the least likely to success and last out of the guys who were in his group coming up. I think he debuted with Ted Debiase and DH Smith? I don't know if he was with those guys or they all came up at the same time, but I was certain Rhodes was going to be a goner ASAP. Boy was I wrong.

I thought Rhodes' debut was alongside Hardcore Holly?

Didnt he debut with DH Smith and Ted jr in Legacy? Or was that after his debut?

Oh.....

I thought Ted jr would be a bigger hit than Cody

See that's what I remember, but I couldn't find any evidence of it on Wikipedia. Illuminati plot...

Pretty sure DH Smith was never in Legacy, he was in the Hart Dynasty. Manu was the third member of Legacy for a while.

As for the thread, I thought the original Sin Cara would become the next Mysterio. I was way off!

I thought they'd cave and work Daniel Bryan into the Main event of this year's mania

I thought the Cesaro/Kidd team would flop due to being completely out of nowwhere but I'm loving it.

I genuinely thought they'd turn Cena heel during the height of Bryan's popularity last year (good job they didn't considering the injury)

I thought ending the brand split would be awful, but it was pretty great for a while.

I thought Lesnar beating the streak would be awful too before Mania last year, and that's worked out well too (well until reigns beats him).

I really really thought the new ECW would be awesome.... was proved wrong on that one very quickly

Well you were right about that one, so it doesn't count.
