WWE Announces IC Title Ladder Match at WM

WWE has just announced that Bad News Barrett will defend the WWE Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 31 against multiple Superstars in a Ladder Match.

WWE noted on their website that the number of challengers and their identities will be revealed in the next few weeks.

Depends on who is involved, but this has potential to good.

I love this match, but I want Bryan no where near this match. Hell I would take the Sheamus-Bryan match over this. Bryan should be the focus of his match, not a bit player in multi man mid card match.

Cena vs Ziggler/Ambrose/Barrett does more for the show as a whole. One of those guys beating Cena to unify the mid card titles would be a huge rub. Also I would prefer that at Summerslam.

I was wondering if the ladder stipulation would make people excited about a match that everyone likely hated beforehand. It's smart booking, I guess. Could make for a very exciting match. But that WWE are putting all their most over faces into a match for a meaningless title is a bit shitty really.

And it is a meaningless title at this point. It's changed hands way too many times in the past year, and even when the champion is having a non-title match, he'll lose every time. Like Barrett has lost almost every match since he returned from injury, but is still apparently good enough to be champion. He's even lost to the likes of Sin Cara and R-Truth as champion. This belt is worthless. Though it does give them an excuse to have a ladder match, so I guess that's something.
