3. Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H (WrestleMania 30)

1. Robbie Brookside vs. Daniel Bryan (EWP Intercontinental Championship Match, EWP Gilde Wrestling Festival 2003, Tag 3)

It's an interesting selection. I have not seen his match with Kenta or with Robbie Brookside but I must give them a watch. For the latter to be considered his best it must be somewhat decent. I don't think his match with Trips should be as high though, many of the matches above it were of better quality in my opinion. His match with Sheamus is still my favourite WWE match of his.

What's your thoughts?

Wow, I can't believe they let him stock that list with so many non-WWE matches, including his number one. WWE.com surprises me with the stuff they have on there sometimes.

I would have slotted in that match against Ziggler from a few years ago over some of the WWE entries.

The list isn't in any particular order according to them.

I have to agree with you, his match with Sheamus is probably my favorite from his WWE days (the triple threat is close though, I loved that match). It was excellent and makes it even more of a joke that they were brushed aside at WrestleMania 28. It was the first time I came to realize how good Sheamus actually is in the ring, if only they would stop portraying him as the Irish John Cena, he would be one of the best in the WWE right now.

Being honest I just took the list from elsewhere and put the wwe.com source beside it. I haven't read the article.

I agree about Sheamus though. As an in ring performer he is extremely talented, arguably the best for his size that they have on the main roster. He consistently performs and has had many awesome matches on Raw alone, never mind pay per views. He also got a great match out of Big Show a couple of years ago; I don't remember the last time Big Show had a match that I was invested in as much as their one at Night of Champions (I think) a couple of years back. The problem is that he has been the same character, facing the same guys for the better part of three years now.

In saying that, Sheamus would be another good alternative should Lesnar or Rollins not be chosen. They have great chemistry together and given the time they could potentially steal the show. Hopefully when Sheamus returns, which may happen at the Rumble, he will return a heel as well. His character is in desperate need of a change. Cena is probably the only character that is more stale than Sheamus at the moment!

I believe you are referring to their match at bragging rights 2013 (I believe that's the year). That was by far my favorite match for Bryan and Ziggler in WWE. I still believe that was the night that Daniel Bryan had finally arrived on the big stage. The fans were crazy into the match and it was just a mid card feud with like 2 weeks of build up. Granted Bryan was the US champ and Ziggler was the IC champ.

Yeah, that's the one. I was struggling to remember the name of the pay per view. That was a great match. My favourite match Bryan has had in the company.

I'm a little surprised that Bryan vs Bray Wyatt from the Rumble isn't on here.

Bragging Rights 2010, and in my opinion the best WWE match that year.

You gotta give WWE credit for referring more and more now to other promotions. Certainly it's because of the numerous former indy stars that they have on their roster now, but it's cool to read articles where the writer actually mentions that he was at a ROH event to witness Bryan vs Morishima.

By the way, Bryan has an autobiography coming out in the summer. Should be a great read!
