Smackdown Officially Moving to Thursday

Thanks to reader Jakes619 for sending word that Syfy's schedule now confirms that WWE SmackDown will be moving to Thursday nights beginning October 2nd.

SmackDown will air at its normal time of 8pm EST, followed by Haven with WWE Hall of Famer Edge at 10pm EST.

The move to Friday effectively killed Smackdown. So many more people are in watching TV on Thursday nights. It took them far too long to rectify this.

You could be right, but the quality definitely went down with the move to Friday. There was a time a few years ago where stuff happened on Smackdown. Where storylines were advanced and big moments occasionally took place. A lot of people here made the effort to watch it. That's all gone away since the move to Fridays.

When was the last time that they had a recap on Raw of something important that happened on Smackdown? Forever? I imagine on Smackdown they're constantly showing stuff that happened on Raw. They should try to get back to the point where it actually feels like you might miss something by not watching the show. It hasn't been there in years.
