The Rhodes Family

Idk about any one else but it was kinda epic seeing them come down to the ring together. Also that finish. Cody Rhodes went beast mode on it.

I hope Goldust sticks around.

That was the only match of the night my friends and I got into, but we got REALLY into that match. Loved it.

Yeah the rest of the PPV was pretty lackluster. The hardcore match wasn't bad. I don't see why everyone hates Del Rio.

I just posted about no one posting in here yet. :lol

I love the idea, actually hoping this is heading towards a Survivor Series Match involving Team Rhodes (NWA-Indy) V Team WWE.

Dustin, Cody, Bryan maybe Christian and Big Show,

HHH, Reigns, Ambrose, Rollins, Orton

Add that to a Team Heyman V Team Punk match and we could have a decent Survivor Series.

I actually want the Rhodes vs. McMahons story line to be the central one. I really like it. Dusty can still work a weird promo and Cody and Goldust can still work, Goldy especially. He was solid in the tag match and in his match vs. Orton.

It seems like they rushed the Bryan Orton feud and killed a lot of the interest in it as a result. And Triple H has been stealing all of Orton's heat anyway. So the Rhodes angle is ultimately coming across as more compelling than Bryan's. It's slower and more has been happening with it. I'd actually appreciate if they were able to keep it going for a few more months and maybe gave Cody a major title shot at the Royal Rumble or something.

Goldust can still go, but he does usually screw up any comeback he makes eventually. Maybe he just gets lazy after a while or something. Hopefully that doesn't happen and he can stick around in a "veteran who can have good matches with people" role that Christian seems to have except he gets injured every 2 months.

I remember a rumour a while back that Goldust and Cody wanted to have a match at Mania against each other. So maybe a turn is in order for one at some point.

I still think the best thing about this whole feud was when Dusty Pie-Faced Steph on Raw last week - she looked legit pissed.

They were, without a shadow of a doubt the highlight of Battleground, and Cody's in ring work has been awesome this year... I'd love for them to take the titles from the shield, they'd only need a short reign before a "real" tag team can take the belts and the rumored Cody/Goldust feud can happen

I would love to see Goldust be a champion again, Its looking like it could head that way.

It did just feel right. I really hope they stick with this paring because this feels like the only serious threat to The Shield. Nothing against the teams right now because they are good, I just can't see them dethroning Rollins & Reigns.

Cody Rhodes is my favourite wrestler at the minute. I love how the reaction to him is only getting bigger and the crowd has popped huge for him in recent weeks. This angle with The Rhodes Family is the only interesting part of RAW.

Yeah, I'd agree with this and that is based on Battleground being the only WWE event I have watched this month. The only match that had me really emotionally invested was Cody and Goldust vs The Shield. Its not coming off as forced or being booked confusingly either, like the Bryan/Orton feud has thus far. Hopefully WWE don't drop the ball with Cody like they dropped it with Ziggler earlier this year!
