Should Daniel Bryan leave WWE?

Postby AkydefGoldberg » Jan 28, '14, 10:25 am

Part of me thought that but I'd say NO.

He should stay as long as the fans cheer for him over-whelmingly until the big dicks at the top (Vince, HHH) get embarrassed at how badly he's been treated.

He's still getting paid, he's still awesome, why not milk it for everything it's worth?

EDIT: My theory of him leaving was due to frustration at his support not being translated into the proper respect it deserves. Leave, maybe for a year and then return or to create a situation like Punk did in 2011. If he continually gets over-looked, wouldn't be a massive surprise if he had those feelings.

Where else would he go? TNA is a failing company, RoH has no exposure. WWE gives him a chance for the best combination of money and exposure he could possibly get, and he's tremendously over. At this point it's better to consistently get the shaft in WWE than to be a big fish in a small pond anywhere else.

It would be career suicide to leave, TNA is a mess right now and there are constant rumours about them being on their last legs.

Bryan is making good money, gets to travel with his soon-to-be wife. And let's stop acting like Bryan is some poor soul to be pitied. The guy has been in probably more main events over the past year than anyone in the company, sells a shitload of merchandise, on top of a healthy wage. He ain't exactly Zack Ryder jobbing on Main Event.

At the end of the day this is his career and job. There's no other company in the US that offers the job security and perks that the WWE does from a professional standpoint in wrestling. There's really no real reason as to why he should leave as I'm sure as a mid-carder he probably makes more money than he would as the #1 guy in TNA or ROH right now.

All that being said, if I were TNA I would be trying every trick in the book to get him into my company. That's one thing that would possibly switch the tides in the WWE v. TNA war, not that you could call it that.
