CM Punk's Contract Reportedly Expires In July

Postby CMPUNKFAN » Jan 22, '14, 12:53 pm

WWE Payback is going to be based in Chicago this year which potentially could be the last time he wrestles for WWE in his home town making that PPV potentially a lot bigger than it first seemed.

I think that may be his last match in WWE, at least for a year or so. We shall see. I really really hope not though.

I reckon they'll do another Summer of Punk type thing and run a story focusing on Punk's expiring contract.

They might do that again who knows. I like Punk just hope they re-sign his contract.

I don't think there is any significance to this. They are probably only reporting this because of what happened the last time his contract will running out. He will most likely sign a new contract. I doubt they will do another Summer of Punk storyline. It was great the first time. There is no need to do it again.

I obviously know what you mean, but for fun facts' sake the first "Summer of Punk storyline" was originally done in ROH during his first title run/final contracted run in the company.
