RAW Discussion Thread - 20.1.14

Alrighty then let's give this a try! Post all thoughts and comments on RAW in this thread - that way nobody can complain about having the show spoiled and you can post whatever pops into your heads. We'll just try this out tonight and if it works well it can be a permanent thing. If not...we'll have to do something else haha! The rule is that this will be a 24-hour thing. So if you wouldn't mind post all RAW discussion in here for the following 24 hours after the show ends, then do whatever :)

Lesnar is on the show, Batista is set to return and it's the Rumble go home show which usually ends in carnage so all in all we should be in for a good show tonight. Hopefully Bryan's concussion isn't too serious.

Glad we're doing this! Also im super hyped for Batista's return. He doesnt even have to say anything, just give acouple of batista bombs to some jobbers and ill be satisfied.

Is it tonight Batista returns? I thought it was after the Rumble.

He won't get physical as he's been away for a while so do something at the ramp. It'd be great if he just stood at the ramp, soaking in the adulation, then walked backstage without a word a more quieter Jericho version of his return in 2012.

But a heel return would be great, re-creating the Evolution hands in the air gesture at the top of the ramp, throw Naitch in aswell!

I predict Batista comes out, and is almost immediately interrupted by Del Rio. They talk some shit, Batista powerbombs his ass and leaves him laying.

I'd rather see heel Batista too, but with the pop he'll get tonight, they might as well wait til next week or next month and turn him before Mania.

Oh I gave up on Impact too, it started plummeting in quality after Slammiversary. I look up results for how both companies are doing on occasion and sometimes even look at specific hyped up segments on Youtube (last one was Jake the Snake). Cos I still want to like A wrestling show. But at the moment, I unfortunately don't.

I'll probably watch the final 1 and 1/2 hour or so. I stopped watching RAW because 3 hour shows are just too much. I don't know how people manage to sit through them. Not against the WWE's product. But I wish they would switch back to 2 hours.

Tag title match announced for the RR pre-show sees the Rhodes Brothers vs The New Age Outlaws! Hopefully the NAO win the titles - they're entertaining and I think Cody and Goldust have run their course as champions.

Did you look up the final match for AJ Styles? Most peoples opinion is that it was nothing but a clusterfuck but I thought it made sense all around for the direction of magnus' character, the direction TNA has been going for the storyline and a phenomenal (no pun intended) way to send AJ out like a man. It also served as a final "fuck you" from AJ to TNA showing what they lost.
If anyone can appreciate it I know you can.
