How would you book Triple H's retirement?

Postby PorkChop » Jun 08, '19, 9:00 am

This will (eventually) happen and I suspect HHH will want the Ric Flair treatment - big WrestleMania match, lots of attention, and a big tribute the following night.

Who should be the guy to end his career, and under what circumstances?

At this stage I'd just quietly take him off television. Can't think of a Wrestlemania match I'd be remotely interested to see him in.

He comes out on RAW Monday night sitting around a poker table with APA, Taker and Goldberg. They start talking about Super Showdown, suddenly Ron Simmons shouts out DAMN, JBL says, you're right Ron, the way they all wrestle at this stage of their careers is a damn shame.

HHH, Godberg and Taker all hang their heads in shame and admit they should never wrestle again.

Triple H vs Tomasso Ciampa would be a good send off for him, with Ciampa going over of course.

Oh god, can you imagine the 25 minute crawl-fest he'd drag out of Ciampa?

A WrestleMania match where either he goes against normal wisdom and books himself to win a match on the shortest match of the night, or maybe it will just be his match for 4/5 hours with all the bells and whistles of retirement involving all his mates.
