Who would've been champion this year if not Brock?

I was thinking about how much better the title scene on Raw would have been this year if Brock didn't have the belt locked down from Wrestlemania to Wrestlemania. Strowman would have probably been champion at some point, possibly even Samoa Joe. Likely Reigns too, which could have worked out well if they played up his tweener side. We've seen people build up a lot of momentum as challengers to Brock and then hit a roadblock after one F5.

My guess is if they had chosen to do some different things and moved up the time table. Reigns takes the belt off Roman, Strowman takes the belt off Reigns and then Rollins takes the belt off of Strowman recently probably.

Hard to tell what they would have done, considering how little there has been in the way of real title feuds on the brand over the last six months. There are a lot of strong contenders on the show though, so I don't doubt it would have been much better than what they've done with Brock.

I'm over the whole part time champion thing. People say it makes Brock more special, and honestly it does. It really sets him apart from everyone else. But it makes the show worse. Which should be more important.

If I were to guess then I'd say that Strowman would have held the title for much of the last six months, if Brock weren't around. And that could have been a really fun option. Strowman is almost just a fresher version of Brock that shows up more often anyway.

I'd rather have the option to watch Strowman vs Styles than anything with Brock involved.
